Dr. Hiley, is a NYS-licensed and ASHA-credentialed speech-language pathologist and has a further certification in program evaluation. Dr. Hiley is an Associate Professor at Nazareth University and Director of the Developing Child and Families minor at Nazareth. Dr. Hiley teaches undergraduate and graduate coursework in speech-language acquisition, child language disorders, methods of evaluation and phonological disorders; further, Dr. Hiley supervises teams of undergraduate and graduate student clinicians in clinical fieldwork across the Rochester community. Beyond teaching responsibilities Dr. Hiley contributes to community-level collective impact initiatives focusing on: developmental screenings, workforce development, maternal and child health, developmentally-appropriate and culturally-relevant curricula for young children, evidence-based professional development for child-serving professionals, and local- and state-level advocacy for young children and her families.
