Nancy C. Patterson is a professor of Secondary Social Studies Education at Bowling Green State University and an activist scholar. She teaches introductory and professional year social studies education courses and coordinates the Master of Education in Curriculum and Teaching program. Her research areas include democratic classroom, student voice, and inquiry-based instruction. She is a Fulbright scholar and past President of the Ohio Council for the Social Studies.
