Dr. Smith-Bonahue has been involved in educator preparation for more than 20 years, with expertise in School Psychology and Early Childhood. Formerly the Associate Dean for Academic and Student Affairs at UF's College of Education, she is the principal investigator of the PARTNERS Project, the first registered apprenticeship for teachers in Florida. She was also awarded a contract with the Florida Department of Education to explore stakeholder perspectives on pre-baccalaureate apprenticeships for teachers.
