Vinay Mallikaarjun is a third-year Ed.D student in the Teaching, Learning, & Teacher Education program at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education. Vinay’s research interests are centered around teacher well-being, novice teacher mentorship, educational applications of intersectional identity, and furthering justice-oriented and critical pedagogies within teacher education programs and institutions. Prior to his doctoral studies, Vinay taught high school biology and chemistry for several years at an independent school in Washington, D.C.
