Dr. Hedin is the Morgridge Endowed Chair at Northern Illinois University. The Morgridge Office focuses on research associated with teacher preparation, retention, and advancement, and the use of assistive and instruction technology to support teachers' practice and preparation. Her research interests include use of evidence-based practices by teachers, effectiveness of teacher preparation programs in partnership with school districts, and co-teaching. She has presented on these topics for more than a decade throughoout the Northern Illinois region and at national conferences.
