Dr. Anne H. Cash is an Associate Professor in the Department of Reading and Elementary Education at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Dr. Cash’s areas of interest include the measurement and improvement of social and instructional processes in school contexts. Having completed her Ph.D. in Educational Psychology at the University of Virginia and post-doctoral training at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, Dr. Cash values interdisciplinary approaches to supporting effective classroom interactions. Most recently, she has partnered with the North Carolina New Teacher Support Program to identify and describe coaching practices that support teacher retention.
