Lillie Ko Wong (She/Her) is a Ph.D student in the Department of Education Studies at the University of California, San Diego. She received her Master’s of Education at the California State University, Sacramento. Prior to the program, she worked as a middle school history teacher with minoritized students in the San Francisco Bay Area. Through her experiences in education, she became interested in researching equity issues and the educational experiences of students of color. Her research interests are in teacher education and racial equity.
