Bio Sketch: Althea J. Pennerman, Ph.D.
Dr. Althea Pennerman is an Associate Professor of Education at Salisbury University in Maryland. Althea holds a B.Ed. and M.Ed. in Special Education and a Ph.D. in Instructional Design and Development. She worked many years in K-12 and served in various roles including acting principal. As faculty in higher education, Althea has served as clinical supervisor, Elementary Education Program Director, Interim Department chair, and Associate Dean. She has chaired the state’s team for the NCATE/CAEP accreditation and is currently a member of CAEP’s Accreditation Council. Althea has managed numerous federal and state grants, presented at professional conferences, and published on numerous topics of interest.
