Greg Knollman, PhD is an Associate Professor in the Department of Special Education at Towson University. His research focuses on teacher preparation and evaluation with an emphasis on the impact of training projects on the preparation of personnel for positions in high needs areas that offer direct support to individuals with disabilities and their families. He has also served in several roles on projects that investigate the implementation of interventions connected to pre-employment training for youth with disabilities and families preparing to transition from school. Prior to his work in higher education, he served in roles as a federal program specialist, where he oversaw a portfolio of discretionary projects as well as a high school special education teacher and department chair providing direct services to students and families.
