Katie L. Anderson-Pence is an Associate Professor in the Department of Teaching & Learning and Associate Dean in the College of Education at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. She teaches courses in Elementary Mathematics Education in the Teacher Education Programs. Katie received her Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Mathematics Education and Leadership from Utah State University in 2014. Her research interests include: technology—including virtual manipulatives, classroom discourse, and teacher development. She joined the Teacher Education Program at UCCS in 2014.
