Enatai Elementary School
Amy MacDonald is currently in her eighth year as principal of Enatai Elementary School in Bellevue, Washington. Prior to being principal at Enatai Elementary she served as an elementary principal at another school, a K-5 Math and STEM Curriculum Developer, a Technology and Curriculum Coach, and a 4th and 5th grade classroom teacher all within the Bellevue School District. A passion for helping teachers grow their instructional practice led her to move from her classroom teaching position to instructional leadership. Prior to her 25+ years in the Bellevue School District, Principal MacDonald earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Washington studying Political Science with a minor in History. Principal MacDonald also completed her graduate level work at the University of Washington completing her Master of Education at the Seattle campus. After ten years as both a teacher and instructional coach in the Bellevue School District, she returned to the University of Washington’s Danforth Educational Leadership Program to earn her administrative credentials.
