Charles is a post-baccalaureate teaching license candidate at Metropolitan State University of Denver. He originally attended the University of Arizona and graduated with a degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology as well as a degree in Biochemistry in 2019. At the University of Arizona Charles performed research on hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and the protein mutations that cause the disease. While attending the University he became passionate about equity with residence life and has taken that same passion with him into his teaching education. Being apart of education research to make STEM education more inclusive is his passion through school and into his career. Charles will be receiving his secondary science education license in December of 2024.
