Regional Transformation Specialist

Dr. Sarah Saltmarsh is a Regional Transformation Specialist. In this role, Sarah works alongside universities and their district partners to support every aspect of programmatic improvement. Her responsibilities include virtual and on-the-ground support, developing and delivering professional development, and the consistent monitoring of progress to ensure all institutions successfully accomplish their improvement goals. Sarah also serves as a lead support for the US PREP National Center in the area of research and using data for continuous improvement. She strives to develop meaningful relationships with all stakeholders and believes that we are stronger when we support one another, share ideas, and work together!
Sarah earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from the University of North Dakota and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Supervision from Arizona State University. Sarah also holds a Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership and Innovation from Arizona State University.

Within higher education, Sarah has successfully executed several grant initiatives including a project aimed at providing educators with data-based strategies targeted to the specific needs of their students and a project aimed at better preparing teachers to meet the needs of English language learners through a problem-based approach.
