Associate Dean
Towson University
Dr. Laila Richman serves as Associate Dean for the College of Education at Towson University. In this role, she oversees assessment and accreditation, program development, and P-12 partnerships. Her research interests and scholarship focus on teacher education, equity and access, and instructional technology. Dr. Richman currently serves as treasurer on the Maryland Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (MACTE). She received her Ph.D. in Special Education at the University of Kansas and, prior to completing her doctoral program, taught eighth grade special education.
