Dr. Kathryn Fletcher is a professor of psychology in the Department of Educational Psychology at Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana. Kathryn Fletcher received her Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Birmingham, Alabama. Dr. Fletcher has expertise in child development and educational psychology, with peer-reviewed articles in the areas of early literacy and language development, perfectionism, and the impact of parenting and perfectionism on academic motivation. Dr. Fletcher serves on the editorial board of several scholarly journals and is active in schools and community organizations to support children’s school readiness and academic success.
