Dr. Meetze-Hall currently serves as the Administrator of Continuous Improvement and Accreditation for the School of Education at the Riverside County Office of Education. She is committed to ensuring that equity-focused teachers and leaders advocate for ALL students. She holds a B.A. in Liberal Studies with a Minor in English from California State University, Long Beach, an M. Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction E-learning and Technology from Concordia University, Portland, and an Ed.D. from Concordia University, Portland. Melissa’s research studies focus on evidence-based reflection and leadership practices, the power of video for reflection, and the collaborative conditions which support teacher growth. She is the author of numerous publications, textbooks chapters and co-author of one book: The CalTPA Handbook: Unpacking Equitable Practices in the California Teaching Performance Assessment. She has taught at the University of Redlands since 2019. Before serving at the county office and teaching in higher education, she was a Pk-12 administrator and classroom teacher.
