As the Director of Instruction (K-12) in Lexington Two, Dr. Rob Burggraaf provides support to students, teachers, coaches, and administrators as they engage in carrying out a guaranteed and viable curriculum designed to prepare district graduates to be college- and/or career-ready. He began his career in Lexington Two as a fifth grade teacher at Wood Elementary in 2006. Since that time, he has been the district's elementary instructional technology coach, the assistant principal at Springdale Elementary, and the principal of the district's Virtual Academy program.
Dr. Burggraaf holds a masters degree in Educational Administration and a Doctorate of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Instructional Technology, both from the University of South Carolina. His bachelor degree in elementary education was earned at Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Dr. Burggraaf and his wife, Sarah, have three children and reside in West Columbia, South Carolina.
