As the Director of Personalized Professional Learning for CarolinaCrED (mCrED), Elizabeth Scarbrough brings 17 years of experience as a K-12 educator, National Board Certified Teacher, and Instructional Coach. In her current role, Scarbrough leads strategy development across personalized professional learning and mCrED projects and initiatives. She enjoys collaborating with educators to develop coaching and support models to advance micro-credential systems and personalize professional learning. Scarbrough believes that high levels of educator self-efficacy lead to higher levels of job satisfaction and retention. She believes that to care for students, we must care for educators, including recognizing their formal and informal learning through micro-credentials. To do that, she works with schools, districts, and organizations to customize support plans that are both purposeful and impactful.
