Bryan L. Duke, Ph.D., is dean of the College of Education and Professional Studies at the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO). For 11 years, he was a junior high and high school English teacher and assistant principal prior to joining UCO in 2002 as a professor in the Educational Sciences, Foundations, and Research Department. He is an executive committee member and the Southern Region Representative for the Advisory Council of State Representatives (ACSR) for the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (AACTE). He is also a governing board member for the Regional Educational Laboratory Southwest (REL SW), served as a trustee for the Oklahoma City-based non-profit, Pivot: A Turning Point for Youth, and was an accreditation councilor for the national Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP).
