Jesse is the Education Fellow for Teacher Education Programs at Central New Mexico Community College, where he has worked for over 15 years. He began his teaching career in New York City and has spent the last 20 years in New Mexico working with and in public schools to support diverse learners and programs. He received his master's degree from the Bank Street College of Education and his doctorate from the University of New Mexico. His professional interests include implementation of residency programs within alternative licensure models, advocacy for career technical education programs in public schools, and support of recruitment, retention, and mentoring for diversity in teacher education.
