Nicole Mishnick began her work with preservice teachers at Tarleton State University in 2018 as a part-time field supervisor for clinical teachers. In her role as a field supervisor, she observed clinical teachers three times a semester and provided feedback to Tarleton. She served in this capacity for three and a half years until fall 2021 when she transitioned to Tarleton full-time as the Site Coordinator Lead for the Yearlong Residency. As the Site Coordinator Lead she worked alongside the Tarleton US Prep Leadership team to scale the residency to all three Tarleton campuses. Nicole created systems and tools for ensuring equity among all residents, facilitated relationships with partner districts, trained and supported site coordinators, supervised residents, and taught seminars. She graduated from Tarleton State University with an Ed.D in Educational Leadership in 2017.
