Rebecca Blahus has more than 35 years of experience in education and has most recently served as an educational leader and college professor. In addition to promoting continuous progress and researching social and emotional learning topics, Rebecca has consulted on early childhood and elementary learning resources, including Early Childhood Learning Standards, and guides curriculum work. As a professor, Rebecca has taught courses on assessment, management, and instruction focusing on enhancing student strengths and encouraging self-regulation and self-awareness. Rebecca received her PhD in Curriculum and Instruction from Penn State University. She has encouraged cooperative teaching practices through her work coaching teachers and developing various publications on the topic. As an educator, Rebecca prides herself on engaging teachers in meaningful conversations around promoting positive student outcomes.
