Math Program Facilitator

Rhea Carmon is a wife, mother, teacher and motivational poet. Rhea has a B.S. in Engineering Science and an M.S. in Math Education from the University of Tennessee. She has taught 15 years in grades 6-12, teaching everything from basic fractions to Calculus. Rhea has also served as a Mentor teacher, Data Coach, and PLC Coach during her tenure. She is constantly looking for ways to motivate and inspire educators and students. After completing her tenure as the City of Knoxville Poet Laureate, Rhea stepped into the role of UT PLAYS Math Program Facilitator.
