With over fourteen years of experience as a transformational teacher in secondary mathematics, Nicole brings robust skills in leadership, communication, and a discerning eye for authentically incorporating both student and teacher-centered technology tools into the classroom.
In conjunction with forward-thinking mentorship of both pre-service and first-year teachers within classroom settings, Nicole is committed to advancing the teaching profession her position as a Lecturer at The College at Brockport (SUNY), working with both pre-service and early career teachers. Additionally she has conducted a variety of workshops in partnership with local universities for both preservice and inservice teachers, whose topics range from cognitive science to research based best practice for the mathematics classroom.
