Sara Flanagan

Sara Flanagan is an assistant professor of special education at the University of Maine in the graduate special education program. Her research focuses on interventions for students with disabilities in reading and writing, and how to prepare teachers to implement and evaluate such interventions. Her teaching is aligned to her research in teaching courses on reading and writing interventions and the use of assessment to guide those, and developing teachers’ own professional writing.
