Daniel G. DeCelles, PhD, is the Director of Teacher Education, Clinical Assistant Professor, and Assistant Research Professor at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. He began his career as a middle school English teacher and adventure-based learning facilitator in Rhode Island’s urban core. Since 2006, he has taught, trained, and supervised undergraduate and graduate teacher candidates, mentor teachers, and university supervisors at Brown University, Tufts University, and Boston College. He has extensive experience in pre-service teacher development, experiential education, arts-integrated literacy, and teaching for social justice.
