Julie Bell, Ph.D. (she/her/hers)

Associate Professor of Teacher Education
University of Nebraska at Omaha

Julie Bell is an Associate Professor of Teacher Education and Secondary Literacy at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She is also the Teacher Education Department Secondary Education Graduate Program Chair. Her research interests are in English education and the mentoring of pre-service and in-service teachers. A former high school English teacher, Julie currently teaches undergraduate courses in secondary disciplinary and content area literacy and English methods, as well as graduate courses in young adult literature and the secondary capstone.
