Working with the community has always been Alejandra Manzanares passion. She has a master's degree from Lee University in Holistic Child Development and Non-Profit Management. She has had the privilege of combining her passion and experience by working with individuals and their families in navigating difficult circumstances in their life. With more than 10 years’ experience working in the human services field she has been able to help clients by providing family therapy, parenting skills, assisting in securing safe housing, and connecting families to resources and services. Alejandra currently serves as the Assistant Director of the Housing Authority of the City of Dalton where she assists individuals and families in gaining and/or maintaining secure, affordable, quality housing as well as provide resources, which encourage and sustain independent living. She has received multiple grants to provide resources and services to the community. It has been an honor to combine her passion and experience in order to increase connectedness through the community.
