Dr. Hodgkins is a teaching faculty member at East Carolina University. He previously served as a National Board-Certified teacher, athletic coach, assistant principal, and principal in rural eastern North Carolina. He earned his Educational Doctorate from ECU and also holds a master’s degree in school administration from N.C. State University as well as an undergraduate degree in chemical engineering from Columbia University. As an educator, Larry is committed to ensuring success for all students by focusing on equity and community engagement in his research and practice.
