Susan Brondyk is the Irwin B. and Margie E. Floyd Endowed Associate Professor of Education at Hope College where she teaches undergraduate preservice teachers, co-coordinates professional learning opportunities for the program’s mentors, and serves as department chairperson. Dr. Brondyk’s research examines mentor preparation at both the pre-service and induction levels. Most recently, she has been studying how induction mentoring by educator preparation programs can improve teacher retention.
