Originally from Pennsylvania, Julianne Brett earned her Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies from Penn State University and completed a post-baccalaureate program at West Chester University allowing her to obtain elementary education teacher certification. Upon moving to Arizona, in in December 2008, she quickly found a home at GCU. During her time at the university, she has received a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction in Reading and has held a variety of positions, including Academic Counselor, Clinical Practice Specialist and Unit Effectiveness Project Manager. Julianne currently serves as the College of Education's Executive Director of Clinical Practice. Within this role, she has the pleasure of working with various departments and stakeholders to ensure candidates have valuable and quality field experiences. In recognition of her commitment to the field, Julianne was issued the 2021 College of Education Outstanding Staff Award for Excellence in Learning, Leading and Serving.
