Dan Moore is an Assistant Professor of Secondary Education at MSU Denver where he prepares teacher candidates, serves on the School of Education Equity Council, and is a member of the Diversifying the Teacher Work Force Committee. Dan attended graduate school at the University of Colorado, Boulder where he completed a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction Literacy Studies as well as in Teacher Learning, Research, and Practice. Prior to entering higher education, he taught Secondary English Language Arts. His research looks deeply at theories of teacher change and innovative ways to better prepare teacher candidates, and explores the literacy assets of youth in recovery from addictions.
