Yvonne Ribas, Director of Programs, leads program implementation for CCE’s mission of increasing educational equity by bringing communities and schools together to ensure that students succeed and communities thrive. Yvonne is a key member of the senior leadership team with a focus on program design, development, implementation, iteration, and innovation to drive impact. Yvonne has served as the Project Director for Grow-Your-Own Teacher Pathway and Community Partnerships for Teacher Pipeline as well as Recruitment and Placement Director for Los Angeles Urban Teacher Residency, all funded by the US Department of Education. Yvonne demonstrates expertise in teacher recruitment-retention strategies for under-resourced schools and communities in Los Angeles as well as experience in developing CCE California Teacher Apprenticeship Program with the US Department of Labor and CA Division of Apprenticeship Standards. Yvonne is currently a doctoral candidate with research interests in cross-systems collaboration to increase equity, outcomes, and sustainability in teacher workforce development.
