吴林 Lin Wu, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor of Teacher Education at Western Oregon University. He taught primarily working-class Mexican American students in Southern Arizona for seven years and earned his Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction from the University of Washington-Seattle. His dissertation, informed by his K–12 teaching experiences along the U.S.-Mexico borderlands, won the 2022 AACTE Outstanding Dissertation Award. Dr. Wu’s research interests include Race & Empire, Asian Diasporas, and Multicultural Teacher Education. He has published in peer-reviewed journals, such as AERA Open, Social Studies & the Young Learner, International Journal of Qualitative Studies in Education, Diaspora, Indigenous, and Minority Education, and Urban Education. He also serves as an editorial board member of The Educational Forum, a board liaison of AACTE Global Diversity Committee, and an AERA Division G Section Co-Chair.
